The Programme.

Work Experience

The Foundation 4 Work programme last from one to 12 weeks depending on your needs and progression. The programme is tailored to your goals, whether that be to seek work, become self employed or perhaps to feel confident to begin further training at a college or learning facility. 

Choose from any or all of the following:-
-Customer service
-Warehousing
-Furniture repair and refurbishment
-Driver's Mate

Placements are free to participants, and completely flexible between Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4:30pm to work around your commitments. If you can only spare one day per week, that's absolutely fine by us. 

Job Readiness Support

Our Job Readiness team will provide you with one-to-one support and guidance so that you feel ready and confident to seek out, apply and be interviewed for job opportunities. Based on your goals, this can include any or all of the following:-

-Writing a CV
​-Job searches
-Applying for jobs
-Seeking further training
-Preparing for an interview
-Becoming self-employed

All courses and training with the Job Readiness coach is free to participants. You can select just one area to focus on if you wish, or a few, or all of them! It is entirely your choice. 

Toolkit

Any Job Readiness support you participate in will help build your own 'employability tool-kit' during you time with us. This is yours to keep. We will provide you with paper copies and electronic versions of your tool kit for you to keep and refer back to in the future.

-Step by step guides 
-Your CV with guidance for updating it
-An application form template with your personalised answers with guidance for changing it to suite different roles
-Information and guidance about self employment (if applicable)
-Examples of interview questions and your personalised answers
-List of contacts
-Workboots
-Hi-Vis Vest

Are you Eligible?
