About Foundations.

Established in 1996

We are a registered charity (1090034) based in the heart of residential Teams ward of Gateshead. We collect up to 85 tonnes of unwanted, usable household items and make them available at a low cost to people in financial hardship.

Our Goal

We aim to provide households experiencing disadvantage and poverty the opportunity to create and maintain safe, settled and secure home lives. We also aim to have a positive environmental impact through furniture re-use and to offer volunteer placements for local people.
